Deny Unlawful desires

“Unlawful desires are usually associated with ugliness. They leave behind a lingering sensation of pain and guilt. Hence, whenever you are tempted, think about liberating yourself. Think about all the remorse that would accompany the realization of those desires, and then make up your mind. Struggling your way through obedience is not an easy task. It is, however, associated with goodness and soothing pleasures. Whenever you overburden yourself (with unlawful desires) think about how nice it would be to repent and set yourself free. Think about the pleasures that lawful desires will provide and try to make the correct choice. The dilemma you will experience should be reduced by remembering the sweet pleasure and the ultimate happiness that your obedience (to Allah) will provide. Also make your struggle less of one by picturing the punishment that follows disobedience to Allah. Logically, your mind should opt for the more rewarding option and help you to endure the pain of denying yourself the realization of such desires.”

Blind Faith...Think before you act

This is the story i came across somewhere and made me to think that how Bidah comes into religion.

When it was time for her daughter's marriage, one woman made many elaborate arrangements for a smooth wedding ceremony. However, in the middle of the proceedings a cat ran out into the middle of the assembly.

"Oh no!" thought the mother. "What to do?" She spied a basket and promptly grabbed it, trapping the cat underneath. Relieved, they carried on the marriage ceremony undisturbed.
Some years later, when the bride was grown up and had her own family, it was time for her daughter's marriage ceremony. All elaborate arrangements were made, but the mother still felt something amiss. Then she remembered, "Ah, I remember that at my wedding my mother had a cat in a basket placed there." So she fetched a cat, put a basket on it and carried on the proceedings. And it became a tradition in that family!

I think the same way many bidats came into existence.Seeing our forefather we follow many custom traditionally without thinking whether they comply with Deen or not,and think them a part of deen.

Don’t follow anything blindly. When brain and eyes have been given by Allah, do use them.We should think that whether the particular act of our is according to Quran or Shariah. A religion without philosophy is just speculation. Due to a poor fund of knowledge, people accept certain theories as truth, but never stop to question, why those theories exist.
May Allah Ta'ala save us form this deceptive act of shaitan Ameen !

O sweet beloved !

I said,
“O sweet Beloved,
You are the refuge of my soul.”
He said, “If you belong to Me,
don’t talk of your own soul.”
I said, “Why do You cut me
with Your sharp words?”
He said, “My words wouldn’t hurt you,
if you weren’t in love with yourself.”

Attaining Love of Allah Ta'ala

Currently the book of my Beloved Hazrat Maulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar Sahab(Damat Barakatuhum) im reading is" Reformation of Character".Last day i ended with reading" The method of Attaining Allah Ta'ala's Love".Im quoting here a short description for the ease of the reader, for the rest of the wisdom you can visit the link.
 First
Avery easy method of attaining Allah Ta'ala's love-when a person daily presents himself in the company of another for a short while, then after a few days, love is inculcated. The reuslt of meeting daily for some period is that if perhance they do not meet each other, then one will become restless for other.and will wait for each other.there is no need for any proofs for htis reality. In like manner, begin meeting Allah Ta;ala daily for a short while. The manner of this is that one should take a Tasbih, and facing Qiblah in solitude,he should make the zikr of Allah Ta'ala for a short while.Kalimah Tauheed.Durood Sharif.recitation of Qur'an.Uttering 'Allah,Allah", are all in cluded in Zikr. This Zikr is the meeting with Allah Ta'ala.
It is narrated in Hadith Qudsi
"I am the companion of him who remembers me."In other words Allah Ta'ala is saying"I am by him."
What an easy form for a servant to meet Allah Ta'ala when he pleases.Begin zikr an done has met Him.

second
The second method of attaining Allah Ta'ala’s love is by contemplating over His bounties. He has created the heaven, the earth.the mountains, the tress, the animals and the birds. He has created the whole universe for our benefit and nurturing and we have been created solely for His worship. Think of every bounty and be grateful. Logically, natural love is created for one’s benefactor.

Third
The third method which is the soul of the other two ways and which is extremely beneficial is that one should at times go in the company of Allah Ta'ala’s lovers and should that the hearts of My close friends are the mines of taqwa. Just
listen to their talks with love and conviction. A Hadith states
as one attains gold from a gold mine, silver from a silver mine,
salt from a salt mine, the treasures of taqwa and the love of
Allah Ta'ala will be attained from the companionship of His
close friends. Like if a donkey falls and dies in a salt  mine it  toowill become salt.

 Maulana Rumi
(Rahmatullah Alaihe) has stated, “If you are a stone, then do
not lose hope. By going to those whose hearts are connected to
Allah Ta'ala, you will become a pearl.

These three methods of attaining Allah Ta'ala’s love are the statement of Hazrat
Hakeem-ul-Ummah Thanwi (Rahmatullah Alaihe) which this
weak one has written with some explanation. May Allah Ta'ala
grant this weak one and all our honourable readers the treasure
of His love. Ameen

Hardship / Ease

Allah Ta'la says in Quran:

"Fa inna ma'al 'Usri Yusra;Inna Ma'al 'Usri Yusra"

For truly with hardship comes ease; truly with hardship comes ease. (Surat al-Inshirah: 5-6)

This is what i've realized few days back when i was teaching my students. One of my student mashaAllah good at studies but where he lacks behind is his handwriting that worries me sometimes, that a good student like him should be good at handwriting too,so to make  improvement in handwriting i decided to make me repeat his work twice or thrice no matter how tired he feels, though i've warned him several times before putting him into severity It was not so long before he did the same mistake(poor handwriting) this made me angry  and i asked him to write again .He pleaded that he would write tomorrow ,let him go now but i didn't take least pity  oh him though my intention was not to be hard on him, i just wanted to do his tarbiyat,he shed some tears too but i was firm on my decision. i knew this lil' hardship of present would prove fruitful for his future, he will ended up with good handwriting for the rest of his life inshaAllah.
Soon after i finished  teaching my students i realized Alhumdulillah that the same way Allah Ta'la the Merciful ! do our tarbiyat by afflicting us with some hardship or trials.Allah Ta'la doesn't mean to be hard on us nor He want to see us in pain but to do our tarbiyat, to improve us,to let us know our ability He afflict us with pain so that the rest of our life we could live with ease and in peace by following the Siratul Mustaqeem. Allah Ta'la is so merciful He sees our pain, tears but He knows  where the good lies for His slave.

We should never think the trial and hardship as a mean of punishment but that is the Muhabbat  of the Merciful Allah Ta'la in disguise Every calamity bring something good in it if we have faith in Allah Ta'la,in His decision. Verily with hardship comes ease ! If we truly believe in this Ayat.

Strive for Allah

Know that the body is like a town and the intellect of the mature human being is like a king ruling that town. All the forces of the external and internal senses he can muster are like his soldiers and his aides. The soul/self that enjoins evil (nafs ammarah), that is, lust and anger, is like an enemy that challenges him in his kingdom and strives to slaughter his people. The body thus becomes like a garrison-town or sea-outpost, and the soul like its custodian posted in it. If he fights against his enemies and defeats them and compels them to do what he likes, he will be praised when he returns to God’s presence, as God said: “[who strive and fight] in the way of God with their wealth and their lives over those of remained [behind], by degrees. And to all God has promised the best [reward]

Love of Prophet (Sallalahu Alaihy Wassalam)

Hazrat Hakeem ul Ummah Mujaddid ul Millah, Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi Saheb (Rahmatullah alaihi) has said, “The only reliable and accepted path for attaining the love of Allah Ta’ala and the love of Rasulullah(Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) is the path of Sunnat. If, for example, this love is acquired through a way that opposes the Sunnah of the Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wasallam) such as expressing one’s love through drums, guitar, Qawale, music, etc., then this expression of love is unacceptable. (Because it is not in accordance to the Sunnah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihe wasallam). Allah Ta’ala has commanded His Messenger to announce:
قل ان كنتم تحبون الله فاتبعوني
“If you love Allah, then follow (obey) me.. then Allah will love you”
يحببكم الله
“Then Allah will love you.”
Hazrat Maulana Fadhle Rahman Ganj Muradabadi (rahmatullah alaihe) would translate it in the following manner, “Allah has announced through His Beloved Messenger that if you want to become the beloved of Allah, then walk my walk. My Messenger is so beloved and dear to Me, that whoever even walks his walk will also become beloved and dear to Me.” Understand this through a worldly love. A person only has one son. If he sees anyone resemble his son or even walk like his son, then his father will also have love for that person. Therefore, Rasulullah (salallahu alaihe wasallam) is so beloved in the sight of Allah Ta’ala that anyone who adopts his lifestyle will also become the beloved of Allah Ta’ala.
Unfortunately, what is our condition today? We have forsaken the Sunnah and yet claim to have love for the Messenger!
The companions of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihe wasallam) lead their entire life in following the footsteps ofRasulullah (sallallahu alaihe wasallam). How reliable was their path that they were bestowed with the crown of
“Allah Ta’ala is pleased with them and they are pleased with Allah Ta’ala”
From this we can understand that the claim of love contrary to the method of the Sahabah is unreliable and unauthentic. A poet says so beautifully,
مستند رستے وہی مانے گئے
جن سے ہو کر تیرے دیوانے گئے
Only those paths have been accepted as authentic
Upon which Your extreme lovers have gone
All have returned who were those possessed by intellect
Only extreme lovers have reached their destination

O' Allah

” O God, Whenever I listen to the voice of anything
You have made -
The rustling of the trees
The trickling of water
The cries of birds
The flickering of shadow
The roar of the wind
The song of the thunder, I hear it saying:
“God is One!
Nothing can be compared with God!”
