Hazat Maulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar sahab (Damat Barakatuhm) says...a pious saint used to pray to Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala to make him such that he doesn't commit any sin at all... after some time, he got a reply from Allah Subhana w a ta'ala "why do you want to have only one door to reach Me when I am giving you two!!"...the one door was the door of not committing sin...the other door was that of repenting after committing a sin, with a resolution never to repeat..
